호텔 관계자는 세계에서 손꼽히는 호텔 체인으로, 최근 입구를 전면적으로 리모델링하기로 결정했다.
이 프로젝트는 방문객들이 입구에서 3초 안에 입구의 고급스럽고 화려한 분위기를 느끼게 하는 것을 목표로 했다.
그러나 이는 간단한 작업이 아니었다.
호텔 입구는 얼굴이자 첫인상을 좌우하는 중요한 공간이었기 때문에, 모든 요소가 신중하게 고려되어야 했다.
프로젝트 팀은 먼저 조명과 대리석을 주요 소재로 선정했다.
조명은 입구의 화려함을 극대화하는 데 필수적인 요소였고, 대리석은 고급스러움을 표현하는 데 적합했다.
하지만, 대리석 안에 조명을 설치하는 것은 고도의 기술을 필요로 했다.
이에 팀은 전 세계적으로 기술력 있는 업체를 찾기 시작했다.
수많은 업체와의 협의를 거친 끝에, 한국의 루미스페이스(Lumispace) 회사와 협력하게 되었다.
루미스페이스는 빛을 이용한 대리석의 느낌을 구현할 수 있는 독보적인 기술을 보유한 회사였다.
그들은 대리석 내부에 고휘도 조명을 설치해 자연스러운 빛의 확산과 고급스러운 분위기를 만들어낼 수 있었다.
이 기술은 밝기와 전기적 문제를 해결하는 동시에, 오랫동안 점등되어도 수명이 단축되지 않는 내구성을 자랑했다.
프로젝트 팀은 루미스페이스와 함께 설계 단계를 시작했다.
루미스페이스의 기술자들은 조명의 배치와 밝기 조절, 그리고 전기적 안전성을 고려한 설계를 제안했다.
이 과정에서 화재 안전성도 중요한 고려 사항이었다.
루미스페이스는 고온에서도 안정적으로 작동하며, 화재 위험을 최소화하는 재료를 사용하여 모든 우려를 불식시켰다.

시공팀은 현지 해외 출장 가서, 한국에서 맞춤 주문 제작된 조명을 가지고 입구의 각 부분에 적절한 조명을 배치하는 데 주력했다.
마지막으로 Interiors 회사는 전체적인 인테리어 디자인 총괄하여, 기존 구조물을 철거하고 조명과 대리석의 조화를 고려한 검수 단계를 맡았다.
Interior 회사와 LumiSpace 회사가 동시 작업을 시작하면서, 루미스페이스의 조명이 대리석 내부에 완벽하게 설치되었다.
모든 작업은 Interiors 회사의 감독 하에 진행되었으며, 예상 일정보다 빠르게 완성되었다.
최종 점검을 통해 모든 부분이 설계대로 시공 완료 되었음을 확인한 후, 드디어 호텔 리노베이션 된 입구를 공개했다.
입구에 들어서자마자 방문객들은 눈부신 조명과 고급스러운 대리석의 조화를 느낄 수 있었다.
이는 단지 화려함을 넘어, 호텔 의 품격과 브랜드 이미지를 한층 더 높이는 효과를 가져왔다.
이번 리모델링 프로젝트는 성공적으로 마무리되었고, 호텔 입구에서부터 방문객들에게 강렬한 인상을 남길 수 있게 되었다.
이를 통해 더 많은 방문객을 유치하고, 호텔의 명성을 더욱 확고히 다질 수 있었다.

The hotel officials, a world-renowned hotel chain, recently remodeled the entrance.
This project aimed to make visitors feel the luxurious and splendid atmosphere of the entrance within 3 seconds of arriving. However, this was not a simple task.
The hotel entrance was a crucial space influencing the first impression, so every element must be carefully considered.
The project team first selected lighting and marble as the primary materials. Lighting was essential to maximize the splendor of the entrance, and marble was suitable for expressing luxury.
However, installing lighting within the marble required advanced technology.
The team began searching for globally skilled companies.
After numerous consultations with various companies, they collaborated with Korea's Lumispace company.
LumiSpace was a company with unique technology that could create the feeling of marble using light.
By installing high-fidelity lighting inside the marble, they were able to create natural light diffusion and a sophisticated atmosphere. This technology boasted durability that did not shorten its lifespan even when lit for a long time while simultaneously solving brightness and electrical issues.
The project team began the design process with LumiSpace.
LumiSpace's engineers proposed a design that considers the placement and brightness control of the lighting, as well as electrical safety. Fire safety was also an essential consideration in this process.
LumiSpace operates stably even at high temperatures and eliminates all concerns using materials that minimize fire hazards.
After the design was completed, collaboration with various local companies began in earnest. Lumispace was responsible for carefully selecting the lighting design and marble construction and ensuring that the patterns and colors of the marble matched the hotel's brand image.
During their overseas business trip, the construction team focused on installing customized lighting ordered from Korea in various parts of the entrance.
Finally, the interior company took charge of the overall interior design, dismantling the existing structure and overseeing the inspection phase while considering the harmony of lighting and marble.
As Interior and LumiSpace companies began working simultaneously, LumiSpace's lighting was perfectly installed inside the marble.
All work was carried out under the supervision of the Interiors company and was completed faster than expected. After the final inspection confirmed that every part was constructed as designed, the renovated entrance to the hotel was finally revealed.
As soon as visitors entered the entrance, they could feel the harmony of dazzling lighting and luxurious marble.
It brought an effect that elevated the hotel's dignity and brand image beyond mere splendor.
The remodeling project was successfully completed, allowing the hotel to leave a strong impression on visitors from the entrance.
This allowed to attract more visitors and further solidify the hotel's reputation.
